We are experiencing alarming leadership turnover rates at HBCUs. I recently read a Washington. Post article that cited the average tenure of departing HBCU presidents was slightly over 2 years of service. While these high turnover rates are happening throughout higher ed, they pose a more significant threat to the health and sustainability of our institutions. HBCU sustainability remains one of my top priorities. That’s why I am writing to share that TMCF has relaunched TM2, TMCF’s executive search service aimed at helping HBCUs fill open positions quickly while also addressing leadership retention.
